ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
IV level of accreditation. Licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine # AB 048983 from 9.12.2006. Founded: 1993
The International University of Business and Law was founded in 1993 as one of the first private universities in Ukraine to specialize in Commercial Studies. IUBL holds Level IV accreditation since August. 2006. This accreditation is granted to Higher Education Institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Accreditation # AB 048983).
IUBL is known internationally by its Ukrainian acronym MUBIP. As a nationally accredited member of the International Association of Universities sponsored by UNESCO, it is officially recognized in most countries.
IUBL currently trains more than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students and has a Faculty of about one hundred teachers and professors, thirty-seven of whom hold Doctorates in their field. Currently, students can choose from over thirty academic sub-disciplines.
The university consists of two sister institutions, namely the Institute of Economics and Information Technology and the Institute of Law. IUBL’s Faculty of Business focuses its academic activities on improving the training of business specialists, creating new educational programs in business studies, determining directions for enterprises of different ownership forms, and creating innovative projects to improve competitiveness in small business.
The University trains specialists at the bachelor’s, master’s and PhD levels. Our graduates have achieved important positions both locally and nationally. The University collaborates with educational institutions in the USA, Mexico, Germany, France, Poland, Israel and Russia and is licensed for teaching foreign students.
The University has a substantial material and technical base. The campus consists of three buildings with classrooms and the University Library contains over 60,000 volumes. The library plays an important role in the professional preparation of our students and has close ties with a number of other Ukrainian and foreign libraries.
The educational process makes wide use of computers. There are 10 modern computer labs, equipped with the latest in IT and comprising a network of 175 computer stations.
Mens sana in corpore sano - to maintain the health of students, the university has its own sports complex, consisting of athletic fields and sports hall designed for different sports (football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and weightlifting). Amenities include the swimming pool, gym, psychological center, and a resort on the Black Sea coast. A student dormitory, cafe, cultural auditorium (500 seats) and parking lot round out the university’s facilities.
